A site was transformed with a 1970’s log style cabin being removed and a masterpiece created by Mike in keeping the existing blockwork.

Another inspiring design by Mike has harvested more happy clients. The home was designed to maximize the views of the ocean while providing protection from the southern winds and western sun.  The main living area is provided with a racked ceiling designed to duct the rising hot air to the remote controlled awning windows at roof level.

A pair of Rebated Western Red Cedar front doors enhance the Entry that invites you in to the living area that is very spacious. Sliding stacker door systems has been used facing North that leads onto a large patio areas for entertaining to capture the sunsets out over Bustard Bay.  This deck also extends to the East to watch the sailboats come in from the South.

This design takes full advantage of the stunning views at 1770.
